John, I recognize a lot of classmates, but I am not one of them.  Remembering the names would be an olympic feat.  This Buford guy must be lonely.  Dana

Dana, that was funny and made me laugh. I don't have much of a life. Except for these Message Fora.

I wouldn't be so lonely if I still had that red Chevy. If I could still talk someone into the back seat.

I can't help you Zeke in regards to a Facebook page just for old Mustangs but it's good to hear you are still kicking. When someone post here I get a message on my email account and I'm in contact with a lot of our old friends but it's not an official Costa Mesa Facebook page, as far as I know. But I'm pretty lame with all this so you should check with someone who might know. I just wanted to say HI -

Thanks Cathy! Good, I did see that one but I was wondering if there was a specific one for class of 1968 but I guess not. Thanks again.

Hello David! I saw your posts about all the adventures. Sounds like you're enjoying life. Just in the US now for a visit to my old stomping ggrounds in Sonoma county and visiting old friends and family. Hope to see everybody in 2018 for fifty years. I'll have to plan ahead to be here again!!!

Zeke Oman, you are NUTS!  I never said there was a Facebook page for CMHS - only that there was a lot of activityon Facebook among our classmates - generated from John Bandaruk's posting of our elementary school class pictures, I think.  I work in law - keep your facts straight!  Fondly, Molly

Wow Molly - get down Mama. Hope Zeke has some thick skin and I'm sure he is smiling right now. And by the way, what does the American justice system and getting the facts straight have to do with one another ??? I know that should generate a defensive reply, sorry, just sounding off.

Don Duran

WOW. Feisty Molly. Hope I don't get her riled up.

Molly, please be kind to Zeke, after all ..he is getting on in years.

09/18/16 10:15 AM #69

Zeke Oman

Yeah I'm still smiling after that "vicious" attack....please have mercy, feeling the years! I only set up Facebook a couple of months ago, forced to when the last offspring moved out to university and told me THAT is how he communicates, not old fashioned stuff ike email!!

First, to Sobo -- you are correct about the Justice System and the Truth running different courses.  I have learned through the years that whichever side PRESENTS his case better is the winner.

Next to Donna - thanks for standing in my corner!

To Mr. Duran - my bark is worse than my bite.

To Buford - who the hell are you? (she giggled)

To little Johnny B. - Ok, I'll back down.

And to Zeke - I completely understand about your kids pestering you to get up and running on Facebook.  I only got involved to stay on top of what my kids and their friends were up to.  However, anymore, I rarely engage because it seems to have become an avenue to post videos or posters or "look what I ate today" (I'm just glad those posts are BEFORE they ate it! hahaha).  But I will say, it is a great tool for getting something important and meaningful out to a lot of people in a hurry.

Love to all of you, and let's hope we're all around to make our 50th a big one!

~Molly

Molly on the big day ( or night ?) of our 50th I can't wait to wrap my arms around you and give you a big hug. I'll do my best to still be around and kicking. Even though our justice system has it's problems it's still one of the best in the world. Just wish it wasn't so economically controlled. If you got the money you walk and if you don't you do time.

Donna Kendall (Coffey)

I want in on the  hug...let's make it a group hug! and I hope the 50th will be an evening event so we can see everyone!

Zeke Oman

ME TOO!!

(on the hugs that is...see Molly, I know how to use fonts like you..suprized?)

And WHO is that Buford dude???

I think his Mom Molly slopped mashed 'taters and gravy to you younguns

at Mesa.

Justice, what justice are you all talking about?

As one of the greatest philosophers of our time once stated: "The only justice in the halls of Justice is in the halls."  Lenny Bruce.

Adjust your expectations accordingly.

I am also available to help on the 50th reunion-local as well

Zeke Oman

What about getting everybody to bring a photo series to the 50th reunion , for example, grammar school, high school, 40 and current? Wouldn't that be a HOOT! Or perhaps have them sent in and accumulated into a montage...might be too expensive? Just to have a good laugh at ourselves!

Kris Orbon (Villard)

At our 40th reunion, Randy said NO ONE was planning a 50th reunion....is that true ??  I would love to help and be involved along with others....but someone must step up and take charge...who will that be ?

Jan Nunez (Ritchie) says she wants to help but she is in New York State.....I am in Tustin and am more than willing to do my part....someone just let me know.......

Rebeccca Final (Final)

Hi Mustangs - this is the first time I have actually posted here although I've lurked a little previously.  I think it was the 6th grade photos from Fairview that caught me this time.  I am top row, second from right.  I was surprised how many faces looked kind of familiar.  Although I was never really part of the "in crowd" at Mesa and had more friends in the class of '69, it is fun to read the names and try to put faces with them.  I'm sure NONE of us look the same.

Rebecca (Becky) Final (went back to maiden name after divorce smiley)
