I don't know why I wrote that previous entry. I do remember that her name was Daleen. We had quite the adventure at O'Neill park that resulted in a little visit to the Orange Country Sherrifs' office.
I remember Daleen so very well, we had many wonderful times together. I have been praying for her for a long while now and I am said, so sad to hear of her passing. God Bless her and her family
Day was my 1st friend when I came to CMHS in 11th grade. She was sweet, and fun loving! Towards the end of 11th grade she changed so much! She began drinking and using drugs. I can't remember if she graduated but I don't think she did. She died November 6, 1983. She was murdered..stabbed multiple times and I heard it involved drugs. 😥
I was very close to Dayleen several times in the 70's and I'm extremely sad to hear she passed away in such a horrible way. She was so pretty and so much fun, and I wished many times that I could of seen her again.

Daleen was a really, really nice girl. We went to the eighth grade graduation dance together. As I recall she was a good dancer:)
