Vicky and I dated in Junior year and I was very smitten with both her and her great family. We met in French class and I asked her out. Her brother was in Sea Cadets which I thought was so cool and probably influenced me to join the Navy later on. Her Mom was incredibly welcoming and wonderful and made me feel totally at home. We used to sit and watch old movies in the living room and I remember she loved the Al Jolson biopic. We used to hang out and enjoyed going to the movies and just spending time together.
